ODA publishes guide for businesses

Businesses hoping to compete for London 2012 contracts will be helped by a new guide published by the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA).

The 'Supplier Guide' offers clear information on what the ODA will be looking for from its main suppliers for Games venue and infrastructure and how businesses of all sizes can get ready for upcoming tenders.

The guide was launched at a 2012 Construction Commitment roadshow in Bristol, a series of events explaining how the ODA will aim for the highest standards in construction.

ODA Head of Procurement Morag Stuart said: "We want to work in partnership with the best in business to deliver the venues and infrastructure needed for the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, whilst contributing to a sustainable legacy.

"To achieve world-class business performance our procurement will be open, transparent and fair.

"This guide aims to help businesses of all sizes, from all over the UK, support the Games and potentially benefit from their success."
