BOOST for east London jobseekers

BOOST has been set up by the five Host Boroughs – Greenwich, Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest – and the London Development Agency.

Residents and businesses of these boroughs can register on 0845 155 2012, through the local labour and business scheme in their borough, or via the website www.boost-opportunities.org.uk/

Those registering will be offered a tailored package of support, helping them apply for job vacancies and for business opportunities.

BOOST is already working closely with the contractors and sub-contractors working on 2012-related developments to keep registered people informed of opportunities.

This will ensure that job applicants receive details of relevant vacancies.

They will also receive short-course training and support with CV and job applications.
