Significant steps have been taken on the Olympic Park development over the past few months.
In February the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) submitted its Planning Application for the Park, a major milestone in the development of the site.
A new lock was given the go ahead for the Olympic Park waterways, enabling heavy construction materials to be transported along the water instead of by road.
Five practices have been shortlisted to design the Olympic Park's major public walkway, regenerating the existing Greenway, which runs from Victoria Park to West Ham.
The ODA has also asked for proposals from companies and organisations for use of the London 2012 media centre after the Games.
After a regular six-monthly review, the IOC declared it was 'assured and impressed' by the progress made so far.
