The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) has launched a new eTendering and planning service to help businesses compete for up to 2,000 Games contracts.
The ground-breaking website allows businesses to tender for the contracts online – the first time such large scale procurement has been done in this way.
Main contractors will also be listed on the site, helping small and medium size businesses to tender for sub-contracts.
A new 'Future Opportunities' section of the London 2012 website also allows businesses to prepare for the main contracts before they are posted on the eTendering site.
The ODA has also published its Procurement Policy, highlighting good value and high quality as core values for procurement for venues and infrastructure for London 2012.
