Sebastian Coe, Chair of the London 2012 Organising Committee, has been named a 'legend of Sheffield'.
Seb recieved this honour on a visit to Yorkshire where he also visited his old school and toured sports facilities in Sheffield and Leeds.
A bronze plaque was unveiled outside the Town Hall to mark Seb's 'legendary' status, which came courtesy of a public vote from Sheffield residents.
Other Sheffield legends include Michael Palin, Jarvis Cocker and astronaut Helen Sharman.
Before the ceremony, Seb visited his old school - Tapton Secondary - where he delivered the school assembly and presented awards to top young athletes.
He also met his old teacher David Jackson (above).
The visit concluded with a meeting of the Leeds Taskforce for 2012 at Leeds Metropolitan University.
