This Sunday marks exactly 2012 days to go to the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
The spectacular show in the Olympic Stadium in Stratford will begin the elite competition for the world's top disabled athletes.
The Paralympic Games will mark the culmination of years of design and planning, which is taking place alongside planning for the Olympic Games.
This is the first time that a Games Organising Committee has planned the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games together from the start.
London 2012 Chairman Seb Coe said: "The Paralympic Games is one of the world's most exciting and inspiring sporting events and experiences for elite athletes, and we want to ensure that our Games in London are the best ever.
"We want to set new standards on and off the track, and be a catalyst for continued change for public attitudes towards disability."
