Paralympic athletes and coaches are travelling to pre-Games training camps in Macau and Hong Kong this week in preparation for Beijing 2008.
The trip will be the first time athletes have been able to try out facilities they will be using for pre-Games training in 2008.
Paralympic Swimming medallists Nyree Lewis, Natalie Jones and Liz Johnson are among the athletes who have travelled east, along with less experienced potential competitors including teenage Table Tennis player David Wetherill.
British Paralympic Association chief executive Phil Lane said: “It is important that our athletes get the best possible preparation ahead of the Games to ensure that they go out and win medals and having the right training facilities before the Games are a fundamental part of this.”
