The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) yesterday highlighted its committment to equality and diversity in its procurement process.
ODA Head of Procurement Morag Stuart was speaking at an Ethnic Minority Business Forum event designed to give black, Asian and ethnic minority business people a sense of opportunities arising from the 2012 Games.
The ODA has recently invited feedback on its draft Equality and Diversity Strategy.
Morag Stuart said: "The contracts and tender processes for all work relating to the ODA are designed to be as open and transparent as possible, and equality and diversity considerations are a key element of this."
