London 2012 Organising Committee Chair Sebastian Coe has given encouragement and top training tips to some of Britain's elite young talent, ahead of the Australian Youth Olympic Festival (AYOF) in Sydney.
Coe met with members of Team GB at former Olympic venues ahead of the competition next week, providing inspiration to the 2012 hopefuls during their preparation.
The AYOF was set up as a legacy of the Sydney Games, to provide a taste of major competition experience to top young athletes.
Coe said: "The British Team competing here at the AYOF is made up of some incredibly talented athletes who could well form the nucleus of Team GB in 2012.
"I hope they not only perform to the high standards they are capable of, but take away valuable lessons for the future about competing in an Olympic Games environment."
