Seventeen toddlers from all over the UK celebrated a special second birthday today as the guests of London 2012.
The birthday boys and girls were chosen from 750 children born on 20/12 day – 20 December in 2004.
Children born on this day who were registered with the London bid will be seven in 2012 and are set to play a special role in the official celebrations.
Dressed in plastic hats and 2012 t-shirts, the toddlers played with toy diggers and trucks, and tucked into birthday cake.
Seb Coe, Sally Gunnell and special guest Bob the Builder popped in to share the fun.
All 750 2012 babies also received a Christmas card and special greeting from Seb and his team.
Seb said: "These babies have reserved a place in history and will play a part in what we hope will be the best Olympic Games and Paralympic Games ever."
