Swimmer Jess Dickons claimed her first medal in senior competition, winning bronze in the 200m Butterfly at the European Short-Course Championships in Helsinki.
The youngest in her race by two years, the 16-year-old created a new British record and slashed over four seconds off her own personal best.
Gold went to Olympic and World Champion Otylia Jedrzejczak from Poland.
Jess Dickons said: "It’s my first international medal at my first international meet. I just can’t believe it."
Kate Haywood won silver in the 50m Breaststroke on the first day of the championships.
