The Duchess of Cornwall today visited Greenwich Park - the site of the venue for Equestrian and Modern Pentathlon events at the 2012 Games.

Her Royal Highness toured the Park, viewing the areas which will be used for the Cross-country, Dressage and Show Jumping events.

During her visit the Duchess also presented a British Olympic Association Award to Zara Phillips, The Queen's grand-daughter, as Equestrian Olympic Athlete of the Year for 2006.
Seb Coe said: "We chose Greenwich Park as an Olympic and Paralympic venue because it is an iconic venue, visually stunning, and will bring equestrian sport to the city."
