England's Blind Football team is set for its best ever finish in the Five-a-side World Championships.
The England squad has finished third in its pool. It is now aiming for fifth place, which would be its highest ranking ever.
A good showing in the tournament will give the England team a good chance of qualifying on behalf of the UK for the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games.
Five-a-side Football is a Paralympic sport played by visually-impaired athletes. It is governed by the International Blind Sports Association.
Assistant Team Coach Jon Ball said: "Our challenge off the back of tournaments like this is to further raise the profile of Blind Football and get more blind people involved in the game."
