The CLM consortium today entered into the Delivery Partner contract with the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA), marking a key step in the progress to 2012.
The confirmation follows a required 10-day standstill period after CLM was announced as the preferred partner on 30 August.
Made up of CH2M HILL, Laing O'Rourke and Mace, the consortium holds experience of working on five previous Summer and Winter Games and is involved in both Beijing 2008 and Vancouver 2010.
David Higgins, ODA Chief Executive said: "The appointment of CLM as Delivery Partner puts in place another key building block for the Olympic and Paralympic project.
"We will now work with CLM to integrate our teams, draw up task lists and set Key Performance Indicators.
"I have no doubt that this will be a successful partnership that will help deliver an inspirational Games, and also lasting regeneration benefits for East London for decades to come."
