The shortlist of candidates bidding to become the development partner for Stratford City ahead of the 2012 Games was today reduced to the final two.
Bouygues (in a consortium with Barratt) and a Lend Lease-led team will now enter into detailed negotiations for the development scheme, which includes the 2012 Athlete's Village and housing developments.
London & Continental Railways and the Olympic Delivery Authority will announce the successful bid within the next few months.
