The new One London campaign celebrates unity and diversity

The Mayor of London has launched a new campaign emphasising the diversity and unity of Londoners.

'We are Londoners, We are One' follows last year's successful 'Seven Million Londoners, One London' campaign, which attracted widespread support through its website and merchandise.

The new campaign celebrates the strength of one of the most multicultural cities in the world, made up of 180 nationalities speaking 300 different languages.

Featuring advertising with the distinctive 'We are LondONErs' slogan, the campaign includes a dedicated One London website where visitors can order free One London merchandise.

Running through August and September, it coincides with some of the capital's top multicultural celebrations, including the Notting Hill Carnival and Brick Lane Festival.

London Mayor Ken Livingstone, said: "The growing sense of London as a confident and outward-looking city is a key part of our success and this campaign sends a clear message that we are proud of London's diversity and unity."
