The Olympic Delivery Authority Planning Committee will hold its first meeting next week.
The 11-person committee will have planning powers over an area of land based on the Olympic Park.
The committee will work in conjunction with the local boroughs of the area Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Newham and Waltham Forest, all of whom have representatives on the committee.
The first meeting will take place at 6pm on Wednesday, 6 September 2006
