The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) has today announced the five legal firms who will make up the London 2012 legal panel.
Selected from a shortlist of 15, the panel will work closely with the ODA's internal legal team, advising on issues including contract negotiation, planning and transport.
The winning firms are Berwin Leighton Paisner, Clifford Chance, DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Pinsent Masons.
Morag Stuart, ODA Head of Procurement said: "I am delighted with the calibre of the firms we have selected.
"They have a cross-section of expertise and it is this breadth of experience which will be invaluable to the ODA over the lifetime of the project."
