Members of the London 2012 team have received their honours from HRH The Queen at an investiture at Buckingham Palace.
London 2012 Chairman Seb Coe and Chief Executive Keith Mills were both knighted for their work in securing the Games for Britain.
And other London 2012 staff were also recognised, with one CBE, two OBEs and five MBEs.
Lord Coe KBE said: "We are honoured to receive this award from Her Majesty, but we owe it to all the people in London and around the UK who backed and bid and believed our vision.
"Winning the bid was the first part of a massive catalyst for change for good in London and around the UK.
"The hard work starts now in terms of delivering the best Games ever and we have a strong expert team in place."
