The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) today announced that Mondo has become a Tier Three supplier to London 2012. Mondo becomes the Official Supplier of Sports Flooring and Equipment.

The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG), the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and the Federation Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG) have agreed that Wembley Arena in north London will be the location for Badminton and Rhythmic Gymnastics at the Olympic Games in 2012. Detailed plans for the venue will now be discussed with all stakeholders.

The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) is pleased to confirm ArcelorMittal as a Tier Two sponsor of London 2012 and Official Steel Supporter of the Games. The deal follows confirmation that ArcelorMittal will fund the construction of a 115m-high visitor attraction in the Olympic Park in time for the Games. The attraction will be designed by artist Anish Kapoor and structural engineer Cecil Balmond and named ‘The Orbit’ during the Games.

Sir Philip Craven, President of the International Paralympic Committee, has today seen firsthand the global legacy of the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games in a visit to Azerbaijan to see the impact of London 2012’s International Inspiration programme. Sir Philip was guest of honour in the Azeri capital, Baku, as the work of the initiative was marked at the International Inspiration legacy conference. The achievements of the programme have been acknowledged by the Azeri government who have committed to continuing its work.
