London 2012 has published information to help street traders and advertisers understand certain measures that need to be put in place during the 2012 Games.

New information about street trading and advertising during the Games has been published.
These measures aim to allow the majority of businesses to operate as usual, while protecting the Games and the private companies that have invested in the Games from over-commercialisation or ambush marketing.
Temporary regulations, under the London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Act of 2006, will be focused on the period two weeks before the start of the Olympic Games until five days after the Paralympic Games Closing Ceremony.
There will be a full public consultation on the draft regulations before they are laid in Parliament.
ODA Chairman John Armitt said: 'We want to begin this work now so that people who may be affected by the legislation are aware of the implications and are able to have their say about implementation at the right time.'
