Tours took place as part of London’s ‘Open House’ architectural festival. The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) organised 40 bus trips around the site plus video presentations and an exhibition showing what the Park will be like during and after the London 2012 Games.

Top sports stars Daley Thompson and Ade Adepitan also joined the event and also took some time out to talk about their Olympic and Paralympic experiences.

David Higgins, Olympic Delivery Authority Chief Executive, said: ‘Open House has given us a fantastic opportunity to open up the Olympic Park to the public, offering them the chance to see how this area of east London is being transformed, both for 2012 and long after.'
