Chair of the London 2012 Organising Committee Sebastian Coe yesterday emphasised the commitment to creating a Games to benefit generations for years to come.

Speaking at the Think conference on regeneration and sustainability, Coe explained that planning and building is being done with the future in mind.
He said: "We will only build in permanent mode what those communities can use after the Games.
"If we cannot justify a long-term sporting useage, we will use temporary installations which can either be converted into other uses post-Games, or relocated in component parts or in other ways to provide sporting legacy and opportunities elsewhere in the country."
Yesterday the Olympic Delivery Authority announced its search for designers for two of the temporary Olympic Park venues, the Basketball and Fencing arenas.
