Accessible transport

Accessible transport

We are committed to ensuring that there are good accessible transport options for all spectators travelling to the London 2012 Games.
Access improvements will help many people, such as those with disabilities, passengers carrying luggage, parents with small children, those who do not speak English and first-time visitors to the UK.

The ODA's improvements at Stratford Regional Station focus on making it easier for everyone to use the station.

As well as boosting capacity, our infrastructure improvements focus on enhancing accessibility. Our delivery partners are also making a lot of improvements across the network to make it easier for everyone to travel.

Some of the work being carried by London 2012 and our transport delivery partners to improve access is detailed in the Accessible Transport Strategy.

The accessible travel pages of this website can help ticketholders plan their journey to the Games. The section includes information on getting to the Games by public transport and blue badge parking at venues.
