Public meetings to inform residents of work on and around the Olympic Park
are now managed by London 2012's partner organisations.
Local residents and schoolchildren recently enjoyed the first 'picnic in the Park' and walk in the newly completed wetland bowl, riverside spectator lawns and wet woodlands in the London 2012 Olympic Park.
Over one hundred local people of all ages that live around the Olympic Park joined the picnic and guided tours led by the experts behind the design of the parklands.

You can visit the View Tube on The Greenway, which offers a viewing platform to watch the Olympic Park being built, as well as a cafe and education facilities.
Or you can download a podcast tour of the Olympic Park, which is designed to be listened to along The Greenway.
