2012 in the West Midlands

Olympic sports:
Football

Venues:
Villa Park, Birmingham

The West Midlands will enjoy a slice of 2012 action when thousands of visitors come for the Football matches at Villa Park.

But if you live in the region, you can get involved in all kinds of 2012 activities - right now. Whether it's volunteering in your local community or taking up a new activity, it's all in the spirit of the Games. And if you're a business, you can get involved in supply opportunities for the Games.

From next year the region will be part of the UK-wide Cultural Olympiad, with plenty of opportunities to watch or take part. You could join now by finding a local drama group or learning an instrument.
