The Australian Olympic Swimming Team has picked Manchester as their training base for the run up to the London 2012 Games, at the Manchester Aquatic Centre.
The Thailand Olympic and Paralympic teams have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the North West Development Agency (NWDA) and Manchester City Council to host their Pre-Games Training Camps.
The Oceania National Olympic Committees have signed a MoU with the NWDA for a long term partnership working towards London 2012 and hopefully beyond, to the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
