In 2012 London will be the focus of global attention as it hosts the world's greatest sporting and cultural event.
While the Olympic Park will be in the east of London, the whole city will share in this celebration. There will be 2012 venues across the capital, including Wembley, Hyde Park and Beach Volleyball on Horse Guards Parade. The city will also come alive with cultural activity from across the world.
