What is RSS?
The letters RSS stand for 'Really Simple Syndication'.
RSS feeds are automatic news feeds designed to be read by computers rather than people.
You can subscribe to one of our RSS feeds and have information summaries delivered to your computer or browser without having to visit the site daily.
Getting started
The first thing you need to do is choose a news reader. This is a piece of software that checks feeds you have requested and lets you read any new articles that have been added.
There are various types of news reader. You should choose one that will work with your computer’s operating system.
Some news readers are accessed using a browser, and let you view your RSS subscriptions from any computer.
Other news readers are downloadable applications and let you store content on your main computer.
