The London 2012 Organising Committee (LOCOG) supports and encourages the employment of secondees across the organisation.

We operate a continuous programme of secondments, recruiting from public and private sector organisations.

How it works

Each secondment placement lasts for a fixed period – from a few months to a year.

Secondments are always based on carefully defined roles within one department, allowing the secondee to make a real contribution to the team’s work.

Role objectives and duties are set out clearly at the start of the secondment.

And we give support and feedback to the secondee at regular intervals throughout the secondment.

By the time you finish your secondment, you should be leaving with a wealth of new experiences and skills.

Working as a secondee

If you are interested in a secondment at London 2012, you should firstly seek approval from your current employer and then forward a covering letter and CV to secondments@london2012.com  

Candidates will be invited for an interview when a suitable opportunity arises.
