Creating jobs

Our aim is for people who were previously unemployed before working on London 2012 construction to make up seven per cent of the on-site workforce.

Depending on the length of each contract, which will vary for each job, this could potentially equate to between 4,000 and 5,000 people over the entire period of construction.
