Who is our programme for?

Schools - using the Games in the classroom and wider school activities helping to make learning more relevant, interesting and fun.

Colleges and universities - there will be special programmes to involve students. Some institutions might provide additional services to support the Games.

Communities and other learning providers - in the UK and around the world will be a part of it.

The official London 2012 education programme, Get Set, will help us to achieve our promise to capture the imagination of young people around the world.

The programme offers children and young people in the UK and around the world ways to get involved - no matter what they are inspired by.

It will spark their imagination and enthusiasm for learning. It will help them realise their potential and engage with other young people across the UK and around the world.

Our partners
We’re working closely with partners including the Department for Children, Schools and Families and other Government departments in England, Education departments in Northern Ireland and Scotland, the Welsh Assembly Government, the Mayor of London’s office, and the British Olympic Foundation and British Paralympic Association.
