Regent's Park
One of London’s famous Royal Parks, the Regent’s Park has been open to the public since 1845.
As well as being home to London Zoo and the Open Air Theatre, the park is a much-loved sports venue for thousands of Londoners. In keeping with this tradition, Regent’s Park will provide the setting for the finish of the Road Cycling events of the 2012 Games.

Getting ready
Temporary seats will be built in June 2012 for spectators to watch the finish of the Road Cycling races.
During the Games
The Road Cycling course will take in some of London’s premier locations including Hampstead Heath, before reaching its conclusion in Regent’s Park in front of 3,000 seated spectators. There will also be a large number of viewing opportunities as the competitors speed around the course.
After the Games
The temporary structures will be taken down so that people can continue to enjoy the park.
