The ‘Theatre of Dreams’ is home to Manchester United Football Club. It first opened in 1910 and recently expanded to 76,000 seats. It is the second largest football ground in the UK.
Old Trafford will host nine Football matches during the Olympic Games, including a semi-final in both the men's and women's competitions.
It was announced in November 2011 that the men's Great
Britain team will play a group match at the stadium.
The stadium will continue to host Manchester United matches.
