Event description:: 'The Power of 8' is a collaborative project which aims to build a public discourse around 8 people's individual aspirations for the future. Over the months of May, June and July, 8 of us will develop ideas for the show, which will open in the Watermans gallery from 26th July

Finally finished my Open Weekend whistle stop tour at the Watermans Arts Centre in Brentford for Power of 8. Anab Jain wrote and advertised for 7 collaborators to discuss their aspirations for the environment they would like to live in for the future.
Still in development, their visions are all separate yet similar in their wish for a sustainable future. Audiences were engaged by the huge table with lego and other building materials to develop ideas for cityscapes containing farms, airships and one little girl had even envisaged a snow simulator.
