- Full details:
- Brewing Up is an extraordinary carnival arts project, initiated by Festive Road, which is exploring the perfect qualities, the right conditions and many traditions which surround our nation’s great tea drinking obsession. On 23rd July, as part of IF: Milton Keynes International Festival 2010, we're inviting people to participate in Brewing Up; a teatastic experiment.... to see how many people it takes to bring our giant Musical Kettle to the boil. Alongside the giant Musical Kettle they’ll be a performing tea set and up to 40 young musicians from street bands across the South East. We’ll have artists, performers and musicians on hand, who'll be orchestrating the public participation and we’re aiming to get as many people involved as possible. They’ll be opportunities for dancing, making music and for drinking tea. So let’s get the kettle on and bring 2010 to the boil!
