Highlights
Saint Lucia first competed at the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996 when they were represented by a team of six, their largest to date.
Their flag was carried by their youngest competitor, Michelle BAPTISTE, who became the first female Olympian from the island when she ran in the 100m.
Sailor Michael GREEN, who competed for Saint Lucia in the laser class at the 1996 Games, had previously represented Barbados in 1988.
Dominic JOHNSON competed in the pole vault and the men's 4x400m relay at Atlanta 1996. He went on to represent St Lucia at the 2000 and 2008 Olympic Games in pole vault. No Saint Lucian has yet won an Olympic medal.
