Highlights
Monaco were first represented at the Antwerp 1920 Olympic Games by a four-man team in athletics and gymnastics.
The last time the Olympic Games were held in London, in 1948, the Monaco team comprised four shooters.
They have also taken part in the Winter Olympic Games.
Prince ALBERT II represented them in bobsleigh from 1988 to 2002. Shooter Fabienne DIATO-PASETTI was their first female competitor. She has taken part in every Olympic Games since 1988 and finished 41st at her sixth Games. In 2008 Monaco sent a team of five in five sports to Beijing.
They have yet to win a medal.
