Highlights
Guam were first represented at the Calgary 1988 Winter Olympic Games and then sent a team of 19 competitors to the Summer Olympic Games that year in Seoul.
Lourdes KLITZKIE, aged 48, completed the women's marathon at those Games.
Ricardo BLAS fought in the men's heavyweight judo at the Seoul Games and his son Ricardo BLAS junior represented Guam in the same sport and weight division at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Guam have not missed a Games since 1988 and have participated in 11 Olympic sports but have most Olympians in the sports of athletics and swimming.
In 1992 Jen ALLRED finished 36th in the women's marathon at the Barcelona Olympic Games.
Swimmer Patrick SAGISI became the first from Guam to take part in three Olympics when he swam at the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games. Guam have yet to win a medal.
