Highlights
Fiji were first represented by a team of five at the Melbourne 1956 Olympic Games. Fijians have most often participated in athletics and swimming.
At the Montreal 1976 Olympic Games, Tony MOORE competed in the men's 100m and 200m, and the long jump.
Miriama TUISORISORI CHAMBAULT was the first Fijian athlete to take part in more than one Olympic Games. She competed in the long jump and pentathlon at Montreal 1976 and in the 100m and 200m at the Los Angeles 1984 Games.
Windsurfer Tony PHILP competed in five Olympic Games from 1984–2000. He finished 10th in 1992 and 2000. At the Beijing 2008 Games, shooter Glen KABLE finished 13th in the men's trap.
Swimmer Carl PROBERT took part in his fifth Olympic Games. Fiji are yet to win a medal.
