Highlights

To date, Bhutan have competed only in archery since they were first represented at the Los Angeles 1984 Olympic Games.

Jubzang JUBZANG competed in three successive Olympic Games from 1992 to 2000, the first from his country to do so. He was also chosen as Bhutan's flagbearer on each occasion.

Tsherring CHHODEN became the first Bhutanese archer to win a match at the Olympic Games when she upset 11th-seeded LIN Sang of China at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. The following day, compatriot Tashi PELJOR also won a match. He also competed in the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games where he carried Bhutan's flag.
