If you have not used a blog before, it works like this.

The most recent posts appear on this page, with the latest post at the top.

Each post is written by a different person.

At the bottom of every entry there are two links:

‘Permalink’ allows you to bookmark a particular post.

‘Comments’ gives you the chance to offer your response to that entry, or to read other people’s views.

On the right-hand side of the page are tags relating to different subjects. Use these links to find more blog entries on a particular topic.

Also on the right-hand side of the page is a calendar, which allows you to view posts going back in time. You can also use the ‘Previous’ link on the bottom of this page to view earlier posts.

You can also use an RSS feed of this blog for your newsreader or website.

RSS feeds

Our blog RSS feed is an easy way for you to keep up to date with the latest site developments.

Rather than having to visit the site to view new posts, you can subscribe to the RSS news feed and have the latest information delivered directly to you.

In order to view the feed you will require a news reader, of which there are many available on the internet to download.

Once you have downloaded a news reader, you can subscribe to the feed by dragging the orange RSS button into your news reader.
