Winning a gold medal in Cycling at the Beijing 2008 Games was a highlight of my career. Now that I have retired from the sport, I am working for the contractors who are building the London 2012 Velodrome.

With our sucess on the track in 2008, intrest will be high on the track. However we should also look to road, a 6 time stage winner of the Tour de France 2009, 4 last year, Milano-San Remo this year (Mark Cavendish) will be competing (i assume), with Nicole Cooke on the womens road. 2012 could be cyclings biggest year yet! As a cycling fan (particually on the road) I can't wait,
