Helping schools in the West Midlands get set

Yesterday, Deputy Chairman of the Nations and Regions Group Jonathan Edwards spent a day in the West Midlands meeting young people who have been inspired by London 2012.

Jonathan started the day at De Ferrers School in Burton on Trent where he opened the new sports facilities before moving on to Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton to meet the young people involved in 'Include Me TOO', a national charity based in Wolverhampton, campaigning for and supporting disabled children and young people and their families from diverse communities.

The day finished at the home of the Modern Olympics, Much Wenlock, where children from the school had been practicing their triple jump skills...they might have to be a bit older before getting close to the mind boggling 18.29 metres Jonathan jumped in 1995!
