We have just launched the
ParkCams where you can view the latest London 2012 webcam photos of the Olympic Park. There are six different angles to view on the ParkCams page. You can see venues like the Olympic Stadium and Aquatics Centre where construction is currently underway, and as things progress we'll add more ParkCams to the page.
This is a big filming project for the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) and involves locating the right views from inside and outside the Park, and getting the ParkCams safely installed with power and communications. The ParkCam images also combine to create time-lapse video and you may have seen a clip of the Stadium columns in my
August blog.

Below, the filming team give the lens window of the Stadium ParkCam a quick clean:

With new images updated regularly, I hope you'll check back regularly to see the progress for yourself. If you do, you'll also see when we launch our next ParkCam which is already planned and will show a closer view of the Aquatics Centre.
What do you think of the ParkCams? What else would you like to see from the Park? Leave your comments on the blog.

The Parkcams are a great idea - I can't think of a better way to keep interested people throughout Britain in touch with what's happening around the Olympic Park.
