It's really difficult for me to explain my feeling about last Wednesday, at the Paralympic Handover and 60th anniversary celebrations in Stoke Mandeville, I can only say that it was one of the best days I've had in my long sporting career.

It was such an honour for me to play a small part in this celebration of disabled sport, and to meet up with old friends, Kev Baker, Ernie Guild, and Les Jones. They used to call us the Fab Four. That was the fist time since the Atlanta Games that we have been in the same room together. It was such an emotional moment.

Wednesday will live in my memory for ever. Long live the Paralympics!
