London 2012 blog

On Saturday I went along to the Get Set London Roadshow at Lewisham People's Day. I took my family along to the day at Mountsfield Park and we all got stuck into the activities. It was great to see so many families and children visiting the roadshow and finding out more about what 2012 will bring to London.

The sports workshops were great, the karate was my favourite with Shotokan Karate club; they did a great job getting the crowd involved, it’s a fantastic sport I would encourage people to try.



I had a go at the grip strength test and scored 74, I hear the average is 40 for a man so I was pretty pleased with that! The whole day went really well; I treated the crowds to one of my backflips which went down a treat, and not forgetting the cultural workshops from Ruff Diamond and the fantastic sounds from Ebony Steel band.
