Hi ya, my name is Felessia and I work at the Park health medical centre. I started here as a treatment nurse in March 2008 and I adore every minute of it. I am a dual qualified nurse with my speciality in emergency nursing.
The medical team with ODA Chairman, John Armitt:

I have been qualified for over 12 years and have worked in emergency rooms in Trinidad and Tobago and here in London at our very local Homerton and Newham University Hospital. I got to the pinnacle of my career, where the routine of each day was the same pattern and I desired a change.
Coming to construction is a very new experience for me. It is one that I have embraced as it has allowed me to practice my loved profession while providing me with a new challenge, variety of experiences and the opportunity to work with a diverse population.
I consider it a privilege and honour to be a part of this prestigious project here in east London; the building of the Olympic Park. I consider myself a friendly person and I have had the opportunity to meet new people from different career paths and countries.
I enjoy the positive and friendly atmosphere from the security guards, site operatives and all the others I meet out and about on the site. I am also enjoying the team spirit and the increased workload at the medical centre as we are sorting out the medicals for induction for all the new staff coming.
I look forward with great anticipation to seeing the completion of this project. I hope you do too!!!!
Note from the 2012 Editior:
