The competition to find London 2012 talent is hotting-up. We have been searching for talented Londoners who want to represent their city by performing this August during the Handover Ceremonies between Beijing and London, and the judges have already been hugely impressed by the quality of the auditions we’ve seen.

There is just under two weeks left to submit your video auditions via www.itvlocal.com/audition and the first round of quarter finals has already taken place at the Get Set London Roadshow in Tower Hamlets with some fantastic live performances.

There are three more quarter final events taking place at the Get Set London roadshows in Haringey on 21st February, Ealing on 1st March and Southwark on 22nd March so it’s time to decide which part of London you want to represent and get your audition video in! We’re looking for everything from dance troupes and circus acts to choirs and soloists – anyone who has a talent for performing and wants to be part of London’s 2012 legacy.

Congratulations to soul singer Kevin East and four-piece band Freerun who won the first two semi-final positions in our East London heat. Their performances are now online at www.itvlocal.com/london/2012vote and you can vote for your favourite to decide who gets a place in the finals on 6th April!
