The National Lottery Dream Stats Zone has so far proved a very popular part of the London 2012 Roadshow, with people of all ages having a go.
Members of the public enter their height, weight and age into a computer programme and answer a series of questions about their sporting capabilities and sporting preferences. The programme then tells them which Olympic or Paralympic sport they would be best suited to.
We then have a series of fun physical tests which people can do to test their strength, endurance, full body power, hand-eye co-ordination and leg power. You can even measure yourself against some of Britain’s greatest athletes.
We’ve seen some fantastic scores on our physical tests from members of the public, some even beating our British Olympians.
Aaron Spencer, a Basketball competitor at the London Youth Games, did a standing vertical jump of an astonishing 86cm, a full 8cm higher than Britain’s greatest ever Triple jumper, Jonathan Edwards, who did the test at the Royal Norfolk Show.
Long jumper Chris Tomlinson watches as a visitor tests her hand-eye co-ordination:

The Roadshow moves on from Middlesborough yesterday to London for the Grand Depart of the Tour de France this Friday and Saturday (6th-7th July). Then we head off to the Suffolk Youth Games and the Llangollen Inter Music Festival in Wales next week.
